Why do you need the 32 hour SST supervisor package? Local law 196 of 2017 introduced new training requirements for construction workers and supervisors. Supervisors must complete a total of 62 hours of training in order to qualify for a Supervisor Site Safety Training (SST) Card. The most convenient way for a supervisor to receive a combined 62 hours of training is to complete the courses listed below:
Note: This Package provides the additional 32 hours of SST training. The student must also have the applicable qualifying OSHA component required by the Department to receive a supervisor SST card. 40-Hour Site Safety course may also be used as an equivalent to 30-Hour OSHA for applicable SST purposes.
Students are subject to identity verification, secure access, active proctoring, participation monitoring, and on-camera presence for the duration of virtual training, as applicable to the approved course format.
Participants may complete each course at their own pace and on their own schedule, provided they meet the minimum required training time. There is no deadline for course completion unless specified by applicable regulations or program requirements.
